Find and Destroy

Tight plots, quick action, believable characters
The black and white filming adds to this cold war drama series. The main character is believable (even if sometimes it comes through that he acts like he's been trained on stage - was he?) and the supporting characters all have believable motivations. As the episodes progress, "Danger Man" deals with more and more complex situations, though they are not unbelievable. These episodes are much more interested in creating believable spy than they are in trying to create super-villains or super-heroes. The only part missing is an explanation as to why this troubleshooter is so motivated to do the right thing. Though I have read online that it is these episodes that eventually led the actor to create "The Prisoner", which deals with they mystery as to why "Danger Man" quit the spy business.
