Patlabor TV: Collection 1 [Blu-ray]

Amazing remaster. Absolutely amazing.
I am a Patlabor nut. Pure and simple. This is just as I stated in my review of the Patlabor (OVA) [Blu-ray] review.

Maiden Japan has treated this release with the utmost respect. They have secured the original Japanese remastered video, which is jaw droppingly beautiful No dust, no dirt and less cel jitter than the original DVD releases from CPM.

Patlabor TV restarts the series. The squad is re-formed, discarding what we received in the OVA (so no, you don't need to see the OVA first, though I still recommend watching them as they are some good episodes).

There are 12 episodes, spread across 3 Blu Rays.

So there is one other thing to alert everyone to. The discs contain both the Japanese and English spoken languages, however there are 2 video streams. One stream is the original Japanese video, with the original running time, subtitled with Japanese language. The other...

Special A: Complete Collection

To Rekindle Shojo Passions
I read the Special A manga in attempt to find something like the unforgettable Ouran High School Host Club, and it proved to be astounding. Intruiged I bought the anime. I admit I was skeptical because this was my first anime to watch in Japanese. I loved it! The art is amazing and the subtitles are great! The plot is riviting and all the side characters are given personalities that are breathtaking. There are twenty-four episodes with four discs and six episodes per disk. The box is just standard plastic, but it holds up well. There are not many special features, but with a show like this who needs them. The opening and closing sequences are cool and there are two diffrenet openings and closings. The songs are rather catchy. I am also happy that it did not end in a cliffhanger, but wound up nicely. This anime has become one of my favorites and I hope you enjoy it!

Enjoyable Enough Series Worth Looking Into
The series seems to have a nice mix of Ouran Host Club/Suzuka/Haruhi Suzumiya to it, and while the series won't blow you out of the water with its story or anything it's still a very enjoyable series to watch. The small basic story plot is that you have the main female character who has been defeated by the main male character since childhood in about almost everything still tries her all in getting her first victory over him but as the story progresses they also develop a romantic relationship that is unexpected by either of them and now both must try to sort out these new found feelings between them. The series overall story is enjoyable as are the other cast characters we have in the series as well, the series only comes subbed at this time but the cast did a terrific job in their character roles. The animation might feel a little reminiscent to series XXX/Holic or Tsubassa or even One Piece a little also the soundtrack was a nice match to the series as well nothing that...
